Sponsoring Program: McKinney Falls State Park

The Smith Visitor Center is open Friday-Sunday. Shifts are 9am-12:30pm and 12:00pm-4:00pm. During their shift, volunteers will open/close the visitor center, re-stock the restrooms, man the front desk, and answer any questions from visitors about the park.

All volunteers will do a training shift with a current volunteer before signing up on their own. Once a volunteer has been trained they can sign up for any day(s) they would like on our Smith Visitor Center Volunteer Calendar.

The Smith Visitor Center is located in McKinney Falls State Park, in Austin, TX. After you enter the park, take the second right towards the Upper Falls to get to the Visitor Center.
